Highway 210 Bridge At Thompson Scheduled To Reopen In Early December, Following Damage From June Flood
A six-month rehabilitation program is nearly complete and officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation have announced that the Highway 210 Bridge at Thompson is scheduled to be re-opened in early December.
The severe June flood destroyed the approaches to the bridge and also destroyed a 9-foot diameter overflow culvert that is located adjacent to the bridge. A new bridge has been constructed to replace the overflow culvert - allowing the Saint Louis River to pass underneath it at a greater volume, when demand calls for it.
