Summer is the season that a lot of people take to the open road for one reason or another - whether it's to head to the lake or cabin or just because.  Unfortunately, orange cones tend to go hand-in-hand with the summer season, as road crews work diligently to squeeze in their necessary repairs and maintenance during the few months of nice weather we get in our area.

A road resurfacing project slated for Highway 169 near Hibbing will commence on July 10 and run into the middle of October.  During the work, motorists will be restricted to single lanes and temporary lane closures near the junction of Highway 73 to just east of County Road 5.
