Help Kids In The Northland at the Northern Lights Foundation’s 8th Annual Guns and Hoses Softball Game

You're invited to the 8th annual Guns N Hoses softball game. The annual game that pits the Police against the Firefighters to raise money for the Northern Lights Foundation. The Police for some reason have been big winners but the Firefighters are hoping to change that this year.

The event will feature the K-9 unit, S.W.A.T teams, and emergency vehicles. There will also be food and beverages from the Duluth Huskies with the net profit going to the Northern Lights Foundation.

The event takes place Thursday, August 20 with the doors opening at 5:30 at the historic Wade Stadium and the game getting going around 6. .

The Northern Lights Foundation raises money for kids and families of kids who are diagnosed with terminal or life threatening medical conditions and grants wishes and distribute funds that address the needs and wishes of the kids. Sometimes it's for fun, sometimes just to take care of the gas bill for driving to get treatment.
