As soon as Spring happens in the Northland, streets and parks reveal garbage and other things that need attention, the Duluth Parks and Recreation is looking for volunteers to help.

The City is looking for individuals, groups or organizations to sign up for Clean and Green projects and help clean up garbage and other things on the sides of streets and also in the parks to keep the city looking great as we head towards summer when the tourists are in town and we have to look our best.

Duluth Parks and Rec will provide all necessary supplies to all registered Clean and Green projects and will also haul away the bags of collected garbage after the event.

According to the press release, people can pick their own areas and check in so that the city can be organized. Projects can begin as soon as the snow melts, and they can continue into the fall season.
