Gypsy Moth Spraying Update For Superior And Douglas County – As Of June 4

As promised, we aim to keep you informed about the Gypsy Moth spraying that's planned for the City of Superior, Douglas County, and greater Wisconsin.  This is the update as of June 4.

Weather has has affected some of the planned spraying - and  - the spraying area still has not reached our area.

Spraying by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection show the work mainly to our south, with plans for this week concentrating on selected cities in Barron, Taylor, and Chippewas counties.

At this point, the spraying is not planned to start in Superior and Douglas County - but - it will at some point this spring.  When it does, we will pass along the information to keep you up to date.
