A plan to rehabilitate the Grand Avenue (Highway 23) thoroughfare that runs between the Gary-New Duluth and West Duluth has been planned for July 2015.  Two seperate public meetings will shed light on the plans for the public.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has scheduled two public information meetings to discuss the Hwy 23/Grand Avenue Rehabilitation Project scheduled to begin in July 2015.

The same information will be presented at both meetings.

The meetings are scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, September 8 - 6:30PM at Center City West Community Center Evergreen Senior Center Room - 5830 Grand Ave.
  • Wednesday, September 17 at 6:30 PM at Morgan Park Community Center - 1242 88th Ave. West.

There will be a short presentation and then MNDOT and City of Duluth engineers will be available to answer questions about the project.
