Heads up if you drive the Grand Avenue/Highway 23 route from Gary-New Duluth to West Duluth as part of your daily drive:  The second (and final) year of work on the major rehabilitation of the roadway will resume on Monday, April 11.

Like last year, drivers should anticipate major delays as the roadway will be reduced to single lanes in each direction.

First up on the docket this summer - finishing the new bridge at Kingsbury Creek near the Lake Superior Zoo.  That part of the work is expected to wrap up sometime in mid to late June.

Later, the work will migrate from that area southwards towards Becks Road.

Work will wrap up sometime in October.
