Friends, family and members of the hockey community are rallying around Andrew Kerr - the former Duluth East standout hockey player who was injured in a swimming/trampoline incident over the weekend.

The Go Fund Me fundraising page has already raised more than $60,000 towards medical bills - making it one of the sites top-trending pages nationwide.

According to the Duluth News Tribune, Kerr has been swimming at Island Lake with friends - jumping on an inflatable trampoline.  After he failed to surface, witnesses dove and found him underwater.  Kerr suffered from a broken neck - which doctors performed surgery on.  Since that time he's been in Intensive Care in stable condition.

Donations via the Go Fund Me page are still being accepted to help the family with medical bills.
