As the time draws near, the Christmas Season is almost here. The Christmas City Of the North Parade, Snow, the Christmas Music on KOOL 101.7, Bentleyville. It all means we are nearer to Christmas Day. The Season wouldn't be complete without the Holiday Banquet and Bentleyville Tour of Lights.

Tickets are currently on sale for $16 for the 27th Annual Holiday Banquet and Bentleyville Tour of Lights on December 10 at the DECC. Sponsored by the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Division and the AEOA Senior Dining Program, this popular event can easily become one of your holiday traditions.

Ticket sites include the Parks and Recreation office (City Hall – Ground Level), and are available through the December 2 deadline. Attendees are primarily age 55 and over, although younger adults will often accompany a parent or grandparent for a special evening together.

Delicious turkey with all the trimmings is served. Following dinner is Bentleyville, seen in the warmth and comfort of the indoors via a "DVD virtual tour" produced by photographer Dennis O’Hara that is set to holiday music. Also part of the evening is entertainment by musician Todd Eckart and his trio performing music from the Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra era, lots of door prizes, and ending on a high note with a fun sing along.
