I was talking with our daycare person Shawna and we were discussing when and how of child seats and how tall the child is and when they move from a seat to booster. Law enforcement will be helping answer your questions for Child Passenger Safety Week.

As part of Child Passenger Safety Week (September 16-22), law enforcement in our City will provide hands-on child safety seat inspections and advice — for free!  Learn more about child safety and car seats [here].

When a parent arrives, a certified car seat safety technician climbs into the vehicle to inspect child safety seats. Necessary adjustments will be made so the seats are properly installed to protect children in the event of a crash. The technician will also answer parents’ questions or concerns about car seat safety.

No appointment is necessary. People will be helped on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions, please call 730-4380 (Laura Owen).
