Get The Kids Out Into Nature And Away From Video Games

Head out to the Bruel River state fish hatchery and Bois campground this weekend. It's going to be a landing for great free events, and gift bags for the kids as they are also eligible to win raffle prizes, go canoeing, and fish. It’s what summer is all about.

Start out with some great events at the hatchery; fly tying, casting, catch and release, fishing hatchery tours, kids archery, plus many cool displays. You can also check out Gyotaku. I don’t even know what that is, but it mentions fish paint printing and to bring a T-shirt.

At the canoe landing there will be no admission sticker that will be required. They will be demonstrating fish stocking, and you can canoe the Bruel River.

What a great way to discover Wisconsin’s forests and nature. The event runs from 10am to 3pm.
