Gene Simmons to Sing National Anthem Tonight for NFL Game + News on KISS’s New Album

A fully made-up Gene Simmons will be out on the field singing the National Anthem for the Oakland Raiders tonight. That leads to two questions, will he spit blood after the performance and why is he solo and not with the rest of the band?

According to Ultimate Classic Rock Simmons appearance is part of the pre-game festivities before the season opening game with the San Diego Chargers.

In other news, according to kissonline.com the new album has been pushed up a week. The disc, which had been scheduled for Oct. 16, will now arrive Oct. 9. Fans have spent the summer taking in the lead single 'Hell or Hallelujah' and the re-release "Destroyer: Resurrected" which features extra cuts and harder mixes of the old album.
