Are you a budding entrepreneur looking to navigate your way through the treacherous world of business? Have you been yearning to learn some of the trade secrets and basic strategies to help you on your path to success at the feet of a master? Well, you wanted the best, and now you’ve got the best, because Kiss bassist Gene Simmons is coming out with a new book to do just that.

Appropriately titled, ‘Me, Inc.,’ the book, according to its press release, “gives aspiring entrepreneurs the critical tools they need to succeed. Simmons teaches you how to build a solid business strategy, harness the countless tools available in the digital age, network like hell, and be the architect for the business entity that is you.”

Kiss have long been pioneers in the business end of rock and roll, with arguably their biggest and most lasting contributions coming in the form of licensing and product placement. From towels and t-shirts to condoms and caskets, there isn’t much out there that you can’t buy with that ubiquitous Kiss logo or those iconic painted faces emblazoned on the front.

Simmons, like all good businessmen , has taken a lot of his earnings and has invested in a number of ventures beyond Kiss. He co-owns an arena football team and the Rock & Brews restaurant chain with band mate Paul Stanley, and has dipped his toe into a wide variety of other industries from Indy Racing, estate planning and language translation. In 2011, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from Forbes Magazine.

Simmons latest book – following his two autobiographies, ‘Kiss and Makeup’ and ‘Sex, Money and Kiss’ – draws a great deal of inspiration from the classic work ‘The Art of War’ by Chinese warrior/philosopher Sun Tzu. It’s broken down into 13 principles that aim to teach you how to a wide variety of essential skills from, “finding the confidence necessary to get started, to surrounding yourself with the right people, to knowing when to pull the plug and when to double-down, these principles can help you attain the freedom and wealth of your dreams.”

‘Me, Inc.’ is due to hit store shelves on Oct. 21.
