Gas Service Being Restored To Central Hillside Following Morning Shutdown

Workers with the City of Duluth are restoring gas service to residents of the Central Hillside neighborhood, after a hiatus in service this morning.  Gas service had been halted due to utility repairs in the area. About 43 properties located between 4th and 7th Street and Lake Avenue and Mesaba Ave were impacted.

The gas main has been repaired and city Utility Operations staff have to go door to
door to relight gas pilots.
