Earlier this week reality TV star Marcus Lemonis purchased the struggling St. Paul based outdoor retail chain and plans to close many stores. Looks like the Hermantown store might be one of them, as they have put up a sign suggesting so.

No official word has come from the company yet, but according to the Duluth News Tribune, Gander Mountain has put up a 'going out of business' sign. The store first opened up in 1993 where Buffalo Wild Wings and Bed Bath and Beyond currently are and then moved to it's Hermantown location in 2005.

Lemonis told the Wall Street Journal at least half of the 160 Gander Mountains probably won’t survive. The only time I went to Gander was to get my uncle a gift card just because the store isn't my style, but I'm sure it will be missed by some. Let me know what you think of the store closing in the comments below.
