I did some cleaning of clothing and things around the house that I am not using and they are just taking up space. Some of the things were little nic nacs my Grandma gave me. I don't know what they are worth, but I do know a way to find out. Get out those things you have sitting around the house and haul 'em in to the Depot.

Bring your antique/collectible items to the Depot Wednesday, January 20th.  The St. Louis County Historical Society has arranged for Dan Sershon of Northland Estate Services and Denny Mager of Northern Specialty, both experts in antique appraisal, to be at your service from noon until 3 PM in the Great Hall. Please arrive no later than 2:30 PM to register in person.

You can bring up to two items to be appraised. If you know more about it that might help you. If the piece is too large or fragile to be hand-carried, clear photographs with a description of any marks and labels will be sufficient.

In the past people have been surprised.....and you may be too. This may be the chance to see if something is worth money and deal for some big money, or  put in the next garage sale for a quarter.
