It's Fall and you need to make room in your garage, basement, or closet. You're looking at that thing your Grandma gave you, or the painting you bought for $2. Are you sitting on early retirement or is it really worth $2. Well, there is a way to find out.

Bring your antique/collectible items to the Depot October 19th. The St. Louis County Historical Society has arranged for Dan Sershon of Northland Estate Services and Denny Mager of Northern Specialty, both experts in antique appraisal, to be at your service Wednesday from noon until 3 PM in the Rotunda. Please arrive no later than 2:30 PM to register in person.

You can bring up to two items to be appraised. If you know more about it that might help you. If the piece is too large or fragile to be hand-carried, clear photographs with a description of any marks and labels will be sufficient.

Wouldn't that be cool if you were sitting on something worth money that Aunt Bertha never told you about, that she inherited from a king? I know you are saying, Dream On!! You might have something worth money.
