Freddy Loves Cats, Hates Kennels

Freddy is still at Animal Allies and looking for a home. Here's the thing, he hates kennels, so when people come to see him he barks and looks mean. He just wants out!! So he is being fostered out, but he's not out much because of the weather. Make an appointment and come and see him. Got cats? He loves 'em.

Here's what Daryl had to say this morning:

Freddy is a tan and white Labrador mix. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Freddy is smart, friendly, and playful. He especially loves squeaky toys and playing tug-o-war. He knows the commands for sit, get down, outside, walk, and lay down. He is an energetic guy that would enjoy some space to run, or a friend that would be willing to take him on walks. Freddy would prefer to be the only dog in your family so that he can get all the love to himself! This happy and sweet dog is looking for his new best friend, could it be you? He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
Freddy is part of our Adoption Ambassador Program, which means that he is in a foster home while he waits to get adopted. His foster says, "Freddy is good with cats. When he sleeps he loves to rest his head on a pillow, he's happy when company comes over, and he's very well house trained. He loves going on walks and especially being on the trails! He'll follow you around the house and is calm indoors- he usually just lounges around and likes to be around you. Freddy is a good listener! Outside he can get distracted, but if you keep him on a short leash he'll walk nicely. He barks at people outside, but only does that because he wants to go up and smell them! Once he gets to say hello, he stops barking."
