Drivers that take Highway 61 between Duluth and Two Harbors can expect lane closures and orange cones through the middle of November, as Department of Transportation officials get to work on repairing flood damage from this past summer's storm in June.

More than 40 different locations will be repaired during the project, including areas near the Big Sucker River, Knife River, French River, Talmadge River, and Schmidt Creek.

One lane will remain open in each direction throughout the project.

Workers will be making road repairs, drainage repairs, grading, shoulder work, and debris removal.

Again, the project is expected to be completed by November 16th.
