Fitger’s 5K Will Affect Downtown Duluth Traffic On Saturday April 16

Lake Avenue and Railroad Street.  "No Parking" areas will be established on Superior Street from Lake Avenue to 8th Avenue East and the west side of Lake Avenue South from Railroad Street down to the Aerial Lift Bridge.  It should be noted that violators will be tagged and towed from the area.

Through-traffic should expect delays as well for an approximate two hour window as vehicles are diverted off of Superior Street between Lake Avenue and 8th Avenues East.  East bound traffic is urged to use 2nd Street and west bound traffic is urged to use First or Second Street.

Duluth Police officers will be directing traffic in both the downtown and Canal Park area as well as near the DECC.
