Get your creative powers unpacked for the holidays and make snow globes that are easy for everyone to make and memories to last a lifetime.

So with the little ones all coming over for Christmas I wanted to do something with them that was different and came across a article on how to make a snow globe.

You only need a few things for this, large mouth mason jars with the lids, liquid glycerin, and mini trees and such for things to go in the globe, glitter and some krazy glue. Other than the jars you will only need to get one as the glycerin and glitter is enough for many globs.

Glueing down your items for your globe remember to stay off the edges and you need the seal to fit perfect so you don't have any leaks. they say it is best to let them dry over night, but i did it just a hour later.

When adding the glycerin only put two drops to start in your water, to much can cause the glitter to clump. you can always keep adding a drop at time, as with the glycerin start with a small amounts of glitter and I would stir it to see how it looked and added as needed.

Two mistakes I made was I used a small mouth jar and need to have plastic items for globe, my tree turned the water green. I am very excited to do this with the kids, if you give this a try share your pics with us!
