Explore Minnesota Is Back At It Again The Statewide Scavenger Hunt And Photo Contest With New Locations All Across the State

Explore Minnesota's Checkpoint Minnesota contest is in it's third year with, 10 checkpoints around the state at many fun winter destinations. Among them, you will check out the world's largest free standing hockey stick and puck, TCF Bank Stadium, and 8 other locations. Participants travel to checkpoint signs placed around the state and take a photo of themselves posing by the checkpoint sign.

Checkpoint MN project encouraged people to get outdoors during the winter in Minnesota. Take that selfie at each Checkpoint Minnesota and share your photos on social media. Explore Minnesota says each participant will receive a prize and larger prizes to be given to people that visit more places on the list.

There is $40,000 in prizes is up for grabs, including things like admission to the Minnesota ice castles, Duluth Pack bags, a snowboard package, or a cabin package that includes a fat tire bike and Cuyuna cabins. The more places you visit, the more you can receive.
