19th annual Cause for the Paws 5K Fun Walk/Run

Event follows the Osaugie Trail to McDonald's on E. 2nd St. and returns to the starting point. Registration: 8 a.m. Race begins: 9 a.m. Human participants receive a race T-shirt and canines receive a bandana. Raffle at conclusion of race. Participants who raise at least $50 beyond the entry fee will also get a race sweatshirt. Dogs must be leashed and show proof of current rabies vaccination. Proceeds provide food, shelter and needed medical care for animals at the Superior Animal Shelter who are cared for by the Humane Society of Douglas Co., Inc.
