Encyclopedia Brown’s Author Donald Sobol Passes Away At Age 87

Since 1963, elementary school children have cut their reading-teeth on the Encyclopedia Brown mystery series.  The author of Encyclopedia Brown - Donald J. Sobol - has passed away at the age of 87 in Miami, Florida.

Sources close to the family say  that Mr. Sobol passed away due to natural causes.
