Ells To Head St. Louis County Veterans Services Office

There's a new person in charge at the Veterans Services Office.  On July 30, Tedd Ells was sworn in to assume the role of Director at the busy agency that serves the more than 18,000 veterans who live in St. Louis County.

A native of Proctor, Tedd Ells has a deep bench of experience to pull from; Ells served more than 25 years in the Navy and Air National Guard, along with the Minnesota Army National Guard - his most recent post in which he holds the rank of Major.

As Director of the Veterans Services Office, Ells will be in charge of a staff of eight people who work out of four different offices throughout the county. The role of the agency is to help veterans navigate the wide variety of services and programs that are available to them and their families.  Federal, state, and local governments and organizations provide assistance for items such as medical and employment benefits.
