Elizabeth Chan Introduces Rueben, The Red Nosed Squirrel, Is He Guiding Santa This Year

There's a new Christmas Character, soon to join the ranks of Rudolph, Frosty, or Charlie in the box (obscure Rudolph reference). He makes his debut in a Christmas video by the Queen of Christmas Elizabeth Chan. Part of her latest Christmas Collection called "Red and Green". Chan just celebrated the release of her latest album "Five Golden Rings"

Rueben is a little cartoon squirrel that guides you through the Elizabeth Chan single "Something About The Holidays". How and why was he created, and are we going to see more of him guiding us through Holiday adventures?

Elizabeth told all-access about one of her videos that features a new character. Her single "Something About The Holidays" features a little squirrel and she revealed this story:

"Originally, an animated version of my dog, Toby, was going to be the star of the video. But we just couldn't capture him (he takes horrible photos, too). So that's when Reuben was born. I think Reuben has a personality all his own, a kind of dry Christmas love that everyone can relate to."
