City crews have made good progress on the work they're performing on 10th Avenue East.  The starting scope of the project is finished and now they're advancing to the next stage.

According to the City of Duluth, crews will advance their work from East 3rd Street up to East 4th Street starting immediately. This next phase will require the closure of 10th Avenue East at the intersection of 4th Street. Motorists are asked to follow detours. The Third Street intersection remains closed.
The project requires replacement of underground utilities in addition to new pavement along the avenue up to 5th Street.  The entire road will be re-opened in August.
