Here's the chance to be involved with a project that will have a long shelf life.  As part of their Imagine Duluth 2035 Project, the city is working through a process to come up with a new flag design - one that will become a symbol for the community.

As part of the process, the City of Duluth is soliciting input in the form of a survey and designs.  The survey will be available via a link on the city's website (the link won't be available until January 30).  However, interested parties can get a head-start on design ideas right now.

The city will accept design ideas from January 30 - March 29, 2019.  You can submit those designs in print form or digitally.  Printed designs can be sent Duluth Flag Project, 411 West 1st Street, Room 110, Duluth, Minnesota   55802.  There is a requirement to print and fill out your information on an entry form.  Click here for the form. The city does ask that submitted flag designs be in landscape orientation at 3"x5". Any designs submitted that do not conform to these standards will not be considered.

To submit your designs digitally, send an email to duluthflagproject@duluthmn.gov.  Your subject line should read as follows:  "LastName"_"FirstName"_FlagEntry.  Flag designs must be uploaded at 3”x5”, in a .PDF format, landscape orientation, 300 dpi, RGB color mode.
