Duluth Police Label March 20th Home Fire Arson; Ask For The Public’s Help

A house fire that the Duluth Police and the Duluth Fire Department responded to on Wednesday March 20th is being labeled an arson fire.

The abandoned and vacant house was at 3605 Piedmont Avenue in Duluth.

Investigators believe that (a) suspect(s) made their way through forced entry to the back door of the house.

Duluth Police Department and Duluth Fire Department officials are seeking the public’s assistance. Anyone with any information or who may have seen a person or vehicle in the area of the 3600 block of Piedmont Avenue between approximately 12:15 AM & 1:15 AM this morning is asked to call Duluth Police Arson Investigator Todd Kuusisto at (218) 730-5709.

Also, you can contact the Arson Hotline at 1-800-723-2020. Rewards are offered up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification of persons responsible for this fire.
