Living in the Northland, you've no doubt heard about the battle against invasive species and plants.  Living near the largest freshwater lake in the world - not to mention hundreds of lakes, most of us identify with the process to help curb the spread of these nuisances.

In an effort to educate the public, the City of Duluth has scheduled a series of workshops designed to spread information rather than invasive organisms.  The events are being held by Duluth Invaders - a service initiated by Duluth Parks and Recreation.

Events are scheduled for the following dates, times, and locations:

  • June 1 - 6:00 - 7:30 PM -  North 6th Avenue East and 11th Street
  • June 6 - 6:00 - 7:30 PM - North 6th Avenue East and 11th Street
  • June 13 - 6:00 - 7:30 PM - Brighton Beach
