Tony Hart

Get ready to pay a lot more for the Thanksgiving edition of the Duluth News Tribune, the paper will more than double its daily price for the day.

Because of the popularity of black Friday ads, the Duluth News Tribune has decided to charge $4 for their Thursday newspaper. That is an increase of $2.75 over the regular daily price for a Thursday paper.

Really? You are going to charge more than double so people can get black Friday ads, when you can see the ads for free online? This seems like a very desperate move from a desperate medium.
