Duluth East and Elk River meet for the second time in the 2014-2015 season to play for the Section 7AA title and rights to play in the 2015 Minnesota State Boys Hockey Tournament.

The Greyhounds and Elks met in the regular season at Elk River Ice Arena on January 31, skating to a 1-1 tie. In that game, Garret Worth scored East's only goal and Gunnar Howg blocked 34 of 35 shots on goal.

The winner of tonight's game will advance into the Class 2A tournament at the Xcel Energy Center next week. The Elks haven't been to the state tournament since 2005, while Duluth East is contending to make their 7th straight appearance in a streak that started in 2009.

Tonight’s game can be heard on WEBC 560 AM on the radio and on webc560.com via our online stream. The puck drops at 7pm, and coverage of the game will start 15 minutes before the beginning of the game.
