Over the past week, Olympic Curling hopefuls were competing in Omaha, Nebraska for a chance to represent the USA at the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. It is exciting to say two Duluth based teams will be going to the games. The Duluth Curling Club announced they will welcome home the teams tonight at 5:30 pm.

Congratulations to the Women's Team, made up of Nina Roth (McFarland, WI), Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN), Aileen Geving (Duluth, MN), Becca Hamilton (McFarland, WI) and  The Men's Team made up of John Shuster (Duluth, MN) Tyler George (Duluth, MN), Matt Hamilton (McFarland,WI), John Landsteiner (Duluth, MN), Joe Polo (Duluth, MN). So, Team Roth For the Women and Team Shuster for the Men will be going to the games.

John Shuster has also become the first Curler to make 4 Olympic teams.
