The City of Duluth has the answer to the question:  "How does your garden grow?".  They've formed a partnership with the Duluth Community Garden Program to help connect would-be gardeners with vacant lots throughout the city.  The program stems from the land reuse initiative Imagine Duluth 2035.

On Monday May 8, officials with the garden program will hold an unveiling event at the Dr. Robert Powless Cultural Center:  202 West 2nd Street in Duluth - starting at 6:00 PM.  At the event, interested individuals can get details about the program that's included in the Vacant Lot Field Guide - a resource tool that helps parties find available vacant lots, navigate ownership or leases, and more.  At the end of the meeting, attendees can network while enjoying a light dinner provided by Northernwaters Smokehaus.
