The City of Duluth is now proud to offer live web streaming of City Council meetings, beginning at tonight’s 7:00 pm meeting. The web streaming product being used allows for the agenda to be time synced with live video, allowing citizens to easily view the items that are of interest to them. All meetings will be archived for viewing and will be available online. Audio of meetings will also remain available on the city’s website.

The City is partnering with Granicus, a leader in government transparency solutions, in order to provide this service.

The City of Duluth is also currently in the process of providing closed-captioning during Council meetings, which is expected to launch in the coming weeks. These efforts are being done under the leadership and direction of Mayor Don Ness and the Duluth City Council to help ensure all citizens have access to City Council meetings, in order to increase public awareness and civic engagement.
