Like it or not, worldwide fame (or infamy) is now only a viral video away from any one of us — and once you’ve attained that fame, it can be hard to let it go and return to your ordinary life. Case in point: Robert Wilkinson, the man whose marvelously drunken rendition of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ delivered in the back of a Canadian cop car, made him a social media superstar last week.

Now that Wilkinson has our attention, he’s decided he’d like to show us what he can do when he isn’t thoroughly inebriated and on his way to the hoosegow. So he grabbed his guitar, sat down in front of his webcam, and performed the Traveling Wilburys classic ‘Handle With Care’ for your enjoyment.

The results are…well, we never thought we’d say this, but there’s a certain je ne sais quoi you get when you sing your heart out in the back of a police cruiser, and while it’s certainly more traditional to strum a few chords on an acoustic guitar, it just isn’t the same. In fact, now we kind of want to hear what Roy Orbison would have sounded like if he’d belted the ‘Handle With Care’ chorus after being told he had the right to remain silent.

Anyway, we digress. Take a look at the clip below and share your thoughts in the comments. Is Wilkinson headed for a record deal, or should he stick to his day job (presuming he has one)?
