Nothing says summer like fresh produce from the garden.  If you're not lucky enough to have a garden for fruit and vegetables on your property there's still a way:  The Northland is home to a variety of Farmers Markets that offer abundant, locally-grown food for sale.

One of the popular additions to the schedule has been the Downtown Duluth Farmers Market - which kicks off their season on Tuesday, July 18.  Every Tuesday - now through the end of the season - from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Lake Superior Plaza will be filled with fresh garden offerings from local farmers.

In addition to the fruits and vegetables, this week the Exchange will sell their Prime Rib French Dip Sandwich or Bacon Cheeseburger Dog - with your choice of coleslaw or chips - for only $8.00.  They'll also have a healthy salad offering for $6.00.

Lake Superior Plaza is located at the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street in downtown Duluth.
