The pick of the crop is yours  - Tuesday, September 12 - as the Downtown Duluth Farmers Market returns to Lake Superior Plaza.  From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, shop the harvest you'll find from local farmers and gardeners.  The season is changing and so are the crops you'll find.  Included on the roundup of items that will be available are locally-grown rutabaga, beets, squash, pumpkins, carrots, and turnips.

In addition to the produce, you'll also be able to pick up baked goods, syrups, honey, jam, and other items.  If you're hungry, Restaurant 301 will be on hand with a delicious lunch menu that includes a Venison Sausage Kabob for $9, a Turkey Ciabatta for $8, or a Strawberry-Wild Rice-Pecan Salad for $7.  Musically, there will be a special performance from the Rick Biggs.
