Victims of the June flood will be in the spotlight on Saturday as Tailgate to Recovery happens in the "green space" between WITC and the University of Wisconsin-Superior's Marcovich Wellness Center.  A group of Superior Senior High School students have chosen to help their friends and neighbors with their Senior Project;  In conjunction with the City of Superior, the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way - they've organized this benefit for Saturday, October 13th.

The event will start with a tailgate party at 10:30 AM, followed by the Badger - Purdue game at 11 on a big outdoor blowup screen.  The afternoon will also include games for the kids, door prizes, and music from three bands.

Thousands of dollars in prizes have been acquired and there's literally something for everyone.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go towards the Superior-Douglas County Flood Relief efforts - maintained by The United Way.

Event organizers say that the event will happen rain or shine and promise a complete tailgate experience!
