They do what?!  That was the expression I thought when I first heard that Disneyland effectively manages any potential mice problems with gangs of feral cats at night.  The Doubting-Thomas part of my personality came out and I had to dig deeper into this story to see if it was true.

It turns out that it is a true story and not a hoax or rumor.  And, it appears that the cat solution has been around since the park opened.

Each night at Disneyland, after the sunburned families and exhausted cast members have made their way home, the park fills up again -- this time, with hundreds of feral cats. Park officials love the felines because they help control the mouse population. (After all, a park full of cartoon mice is more enticing than a park full of real ones.)

But these cats aren't a new addition to the Disney family. They first showed up at Disneyland shortly after it opened in 1955, and rather than spend time chasing them away, park officials decided to put the cats to work.

Animal rights activists can take heart as it appears that the park doesn't just work them - they also take good care of their cat population.  They get fed (in addition to the mice) and the adult cats are also spayed and neutered and any offspring that are found are put up for adoption.
