That sounds like sort of a dumb question right? Not really, recent statistics say most people were good at figuring out when their partners were not flirting -- they got this right around 80 percent of the time. But when it came to detecting when their partners actually were flirting, men got it right around 36 percent of the time. Women picked out the flirters around 18 percent of the time according to an article in the Huffington Post.

That seemed pretty low to me, so I took a random survey of people I work with. I chose three men and three women and asked if they could tell if someone was flirting with them. On the male side, one said yes, the other two said no. On the female side, all three women said yes. So now I'm really confused. Can you tell if someone is flirting with you?
