Disney Closes Big Fat Exhibit Amid Controversy

America is fighting the obesity war, and some would say we're losing. Being a child of the sixties, most would think me a protester, but nothing could be further from the truth. In this case however, I applaud those who fought against Habit Heroes. Walt would have applauded you as well.

 

All those children who were looking forward to the anti-obesity exhibit portion of their upcoming Disney trips are going to be disappointed. Following criticism that it stigmatized fat kids, Habit Heroes, a new attraction at Walt Disney World’s Epcot in Orlando, has been closed for reworking just weeks after its unofficial opening.
