Dennis Godfrey Memorial Car Show Happens May 7 At Lake Superior College

The summer car show schedule gets an early start on Saturday with the Dennis Godfrey Memorial at the Lake Superior College.

The event will happen rain or shine in the lower west parking lot at the campus, off Trinity Road from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.  Spectators are welcome to view the entry cars for free. In addition, there will be auto body and auto service demonstrations, a pipe rapping competition at 3:00 PM, music, prizes, a swap meet, and more.

Registration for vehicles starts at 10:00 AM - just $10, with trophies awarded in up to 25 classes.  Cost for a space in the swap meet is $5.

The Dennis Godfrey Memorial Car Show is named in honor of the late LSC automotive instructor.  The pictured Pontiac GTO was his muscle car, featured in the photo at the 2014 car show.
