Delays In Downtown Duluth Is To Fix Streets For Grandma’s Marathon

When you are driving in downtown Duluth and you see the loose bricks and the streets out of sorts from plowing and other winter scars, know that the city feels your pain. It doesn't come without a price, there are going to be delays.

Starting today,  street repairs will start at 6th Avenue East and Superior Street and work East to 4th Avenue East closing one block and one lane at a time. The same procedure but in reverse will followed to repair the other side of the street. Motorists should expect temporary delays in their commute as street repairs are conducted and are reminded to pay attention and drive carefully.
