There's a reason Barry White was so successful with his seductive music.  New research shows that women remember men with deeper voices better than those with a higher-pitched tone.

Women are very sensitive to the pitch of a voice and will remember a deep voice above higher tones. Then, depending on what they remember they can choose or reject you as a potential mate.

Scientists at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland have proved for the first time that a low masculine voice is important to the accuracy of women's memory and subsequent choice of mate.

This can be important because women use their memory to select potential mates.

[W]hen they come to evaluate potential partners, women rely on their memories to quickly provide information about the attributes and past behaviour of their suitor.
