In a previous article, I was pretty emphatic in agreeing with The King, Richard Petty, that Danica could go fast, but she was not a racer. I predicted at best, she would be a 25th place driver. In the first two races, she hasn't even done that. I also mentioned last season (her first) other racers were overly kind to her during her rookie season. Now in season two, the gloves are off, and her fellow racers favorite chant is "no more Mr. nice guy." Danica Patrick left frustrated following a pair of spins Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway, and yet another crash exit for Danica Patrick.

The first incident involved Justin Allgaier and Travis Kvapil on Lap 172, and led Patrick to seek out Allgaier and have a discussion post-race, according to multiple reports. Patrick was running 25th, one lap down at the time. "The damn 51 (Allgaier) was driving like a complete jackass," Patrick radioed to her team immediately afterward. "I'm not at all surprised we wrecked." I think Danica needs to learn that as far as her competitors in the race are concerned, she's just another driver, and will be treated as such. The gloves are off, we'll see what happens.
