Culvert Work Closes Arkula Road/County Highway 52 Along Highway 53 For 15 Days

I encountered the orange road signs for this project over the weekend and noticed that it looks like a rather long detour.  Officials with St. Louis County have alerted the public that a culvert replacement project on Arkula Road/County Highway 52 will close to traffic for about 15 days.

The work will affect the area on Arkula Road from Highway 53 west to CSAH 7 - near Cotton.  Signs direct motorists to use CSAH 133 as a detour.

The work is being done in advance of a road resurfacing project that is expected to begin later this spring.
