The Climax Blues Band (originally known as the Climax Chicago Blues Band) were formed in 1968. In 1970,  they shortened their name to the Climax Blues Band due to pressure from the Chicago Transit Authority (later knows as Chicago.) They have 17 albums to their credit plus a top 10 with "Couldn't Get It Right".
