Coca Bean, A Cutie, Wants To Go Home With You, Animal Allies Pet Of The Week

Sarah brings us our Pet Of The Week and this week leads up to the walk with the animals at Bayfront. This weeks pet of the week is Coca Bean, and she would like to go home with you. You can meet her at the shelter or walk on Saturday Morning.

Sarah says Coca Bean came here from Bemidji with her large family. She has had a rough past but is now looking for a fresh start. She can be shy at first but give her some time and she will warm up. She warms up best to really tasty treats! Coca Bean is sweet natured and is in much need for the loving she deserves. Given a good home she will repay the favor with cuddles and affection!

You are encouraged to find out what kind of pet you match up with but here are Coca's matches: COUCH POTATO (PURPLE): Like the easy life? Then I'm the perfect match for you. I'm a relaxed, laid-back kind of dog who enjoys long naps, watching movies, curling up on laps, and walking very short distances from the couch to the food bowl and back. (Internally motivated)

Join Animal Allies on Saturday, June 8th, for the 21st Annual Walk for Animals at Bayfront Festival Park.

This event will be packed with exciting activities including an obstacle course and contests for you and your pet, beautiful artwork made by shelter animals on sale from Art Junction at UDAC, a continental breakfast and more! These fabulous events are free and open to the public.

Register now to help homeless pets! All pre-registrants who raise $40 or more get a t-shirt the day of the event.* Registration is also available on Saturday, June 8th beginning at 9:00am and the walk starts at 10:00am.
