Cloquet Police have made an arrest in the bank robbery  that occurred this past Monday.

Acting on tips that were provided by the public, officers arrested a 20-year old male  suspect.

Police executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 10 block of 13th Street in the City of Cloquet where evidence believed to be worn by the suspect during the burglary was recovered, along with monies believed to be belonging to Cornerstone State Bank.

The suspect is currently being held at the Carlton County Law Enforcement Center awaiting formal charges.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time. Cloquet police were assisted by Arrowhead Regional Corrections (probation) and the public.

Cloquet Police are asking for the public's help in apprehending the individuals involved with an early morning robbery at the Cornerstone State Bank.

At 5:50AM on Monday, November 11, officers responded to a call at the Cornerstone State Bank in Cloquet on the report of a broken window.  On further inspection, it was determined that a robbery had occurred.

One unidentified suspect is visible on surveillance footage inside the bank stealing an undisclosed amount of money. A unique rock was recovered from the scene. If anyone recognizes this rock, you are asked to contact the authorities  immediately.
